2026 GASGAS MC 85 17/14 Base

Information

2026 GASGAS MC 85 17/14

Together with our global team of talented, young test riders, we've developed what can only be described as an incredible 2-stroke motocross bike! From the new frame and WP shock to the improved motor and redesigned bodywork, just about everything is new, making for a seriously fresh MC 85 in 2025. As well as the increased performance, the riding experience is considerably improved too. Slimmer ergonomics and a handlebar bend created specifically for younger racers inspires confidence and makes laps at the track so much more enjoyable. The end result of all the changes is a bike that delivers incredible performance and rideability for such a small motorcycle. And if there's one thing that we can guarantee, it's that kids will absolutely love it!

Features may include:

  • Bodywork

Inspired by our full-size motocross bikes, the MC 85 features scaled-down bodywork designed specifically for young riders. The slim rear end and lowered seat height (34.2 in / 871 mm) make it easy to move around on the bike, whether seated or standing. Side panels are positioned close to the frame and subframe for optimal leg grip, while GASGAS-specific textures on the tank spoiler and seat enhance control and comfort.

  • Handlebars

Built for control and comfort, the MC 85 features black anodized aluminum handlebars with a bend designed specifically for younger riders. The shape helps kids ride with confidence and proper technique, while black ODI grips -- just like on our full-size bikes -- deliver a secure hold. A sleek crash pad adds protection and completes the race-ready look.

  • AirBox

Designed for performance and easy maintenance, the MC 85 airbox features top-mounted ducts that channel airflow efficiently into the motor. The Twin Air filter is securely mounted using a snap-lock system and can be accessed without tools by simply removing the side panel. It's a smart setup that keeps things flowing and makes filter checks quick and hassle-free.

  • Fuel Tank

Designed to integrate seamlessly with the MC 85's frame and bodywork, the fuel tank holds 1.42 gallons (5.4 liters) -- plenty for long motos and full-throttle fun. A compact fuel cap, just like the one used on our full-size bikes, keeps things clean and race-ready.
